The enemy is not like you.

He does not tire. He does not forget. He does not make mistakes born of haste or decisions clouded by emotion. He has been studying human weakness since Adam, perfecting his techniques across millennia, refining his strategies with every generation. He knows patterns you do not know exist. He sees vulnerabilities you have never named.

You cannot punch the dark.

This is not a call to despair. It is a call to reality. The man who thinks he can defeat Satan through cleverness, willpower, or human strength has already lost. You cannot outthink a liar who has been deceiving humanity since the garden. You cannot outmaneuver an enemy who moves in dimensions you cannot perceive.

So what then? Surrender?

No. You fight—but not in your own strength.

Be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. This is the key. Your strength fails. His does not. Your wisdom falls short. His stretches beyond. Your sight is limited to the visible. His penetrates the invisible. You cannot win this war, but He already has.

The armor is not human invention. It is divine provision. God does not send you into battle unequipped or command you to fight unarmed. He provides what He requires. He equips what He commands. The armor works because He forged it.

When you put on the armor, you put on His victory. When you stand in truth, you stand in His truth. When you take up the shield, you take up His faithfulness. You are not fighting to win. You are fighting from victory already accomplished.

You cannot punch the dark. But you can stand in the Light that has already conquered it.

PRAYER: Lord, I cannot defeat this enemy in my own strength. My wisdom is foolishness against his schemes. My strength is weakness against his power. But You have overcome. You have conquered. You have provided armor forged in Your victory. Clothe me in Your strength today. In Jesus' name. Amen.

ACTION: Memorize Ephesians 6:10—"Be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might." Repeat it aloud every time you feel overwhelmed.
